Executive Director

Sue has been working at Riverside for 36 years and has been teaching for 40! Sue did her student teaching at Riverside in 1984 and has been with Riverside ever since. Sue worked as an assistant and classroom teacher in the Rainbow Room and Nursery and then later took on the role of education coordinator which she held for 7 years. Sue is now our Executive Director and oversees all operations at RCC. All three of Sue’s children have attended Riverside and both of her daughters are now working at RCC alongside her! In her free time Sue enjoys reading, cooking, building, crafting and organising events and parties, but most of all spending time with her family.

Main Office Coordinator

Lindsey has been at Riverside for 11 years and has been teaching for 15! Lindsey has always loved working with kids and has two kids of her own, an 11 year old girl and a 9 year old boy. In her free time Lindsey enjoys reading and playing word games.

Shannon has been at Riverside for almost a year! Shannon is our Front Office Coordinator and Float teacher, she has a bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Animal Behavior from The University of New Hampshire. In her free time Shannon enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, reading and fostering animals in need.

Nursery Room Teacher

Amanda has been at Riverside and teaching for 10 years! Amanda has her bachelors degree in Early Education from The University of Vermont. Amanda was a gymnast for many years and her dedication and commitment drove her to coach gymnastics for some time. In her free time, Amanda loves to stay active and go running as well as spend time at the beach!

Nicole has been at Riverside and teaching for 9 years! Nicole has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Stonewall College and has a Master’s degree in school counselling from Northeastern University. Nicole started as an assistant in the research room and a floater, she then transitioned to the Nursery Room full time when a position became available. Nicole lives with her husband and her son who currently attends Riverside!

Leslie has been at Riverside for over a year and has been teaching for 4! Leslie fell in love with teaching 4 years ago and since has gone back to school to pursue a bachelors in Early Childhood Education. Leslie has always loved working with kids and was a lacrosse coach to middle and high school aged children for several years.

Rainbow Room Teacher

Kelly has been at Riverside for 13 years! Kelly has a degree in Art Education and Psychology from Elmira College, New York. She started as an assistant in the Rainbow Room and fell in love with teaching toddlers. She made the transition to full time when a position became available and has been there ever since. Kelly currently wears many hats at RCC including parent, teacher, and scheduling coordinator.

Susan has been at Riverside for 31 years and can’t see herself working anywhere else! She has worked with all ages but particularly fell in love with teaching young toddlers. Susan loves to see the immense growth that occurs over the course of just one year. In her free time Susan enjoys baking and watching tv, she is a huge animal lover and lives with her husband and their Red Heeler, Robyn.

Kerry has been at Riverside for over a year but has been teaching for 4! Kerry has a bachelor’s in Education and Theatre from Bridgewater State University. She has always loved working with kids and before she began teaching she was a swim instructor, camp counselor and worked at the YMCA for some time. In her free time Kerry loves to read and paint!

Bella has been at Riverside for 4 years! Bella is from Brazil, and taught herself English before coming to the US! Bella moved to the US in 2017, she has a pet bunny named Marshmallow and is a big dog lover. In her free time Bella loves going to the beach, traveling, and singing.

Levon has been at Riverside for 4 years! He is a Newton native and attended Massbay and Laser College to be close to home! In his free time Levon likes to stay active, read and watch movies.

Discovery Room Teacher

Mary has been at Riverside for 39 years! Before being a teacher in the Discovery Room Mary and her long time friend Nancy were co teachers in the Turtle Room for 35 years. Mary has worked at Riverside since she was 19 years old, she wears many hats, teacher, mother and education coordinator. In her free time Mary loves to spend time at her Cape House in Eastham and loves birds, beaches and nature.
